Communications

CCL's Communications Committee has been renamed the Current Interests Committee, with a new charge to to identify current themes/initiatives/topics critical to California community college libraries today and lead the development of content to share with the field. Look for new resources from this committee in the coming months. Big thank you to everyone who served on the Communications Committee while it existed. The Committee coordinated the 2017-18 CCL website overhaul, modernized our communications structures and revamped the Outlook Newsletter. Bravo!

Starting Friday, December 1, the existing web pages for the Council of Chief Librarians (http://cclccc.org/) and for the Community College League of California’s Library Consortium (http://cclibraries.org/) will be integrated into a newly redesigned website that better reflects the organizational structure of these two entities. This integrated website will be friendly for users of mobile devices, more accessible (WCAG 2.0 AA compliant), and will offer several new features that we hope our users will find helpful.
