Red Carpet Gala at Allan Hancock College Library Who says professional development can’t be fun? To introduce Films on Demand (thank you, again Sarah Raley for all you do!), librarians hosted a red carpet gala (and professional development activity) for college staff and faculty. While “guests” walked the red carpet and celebrated with bubbly (apple juice, of course), popcorn, and Oscar shaped cookies, they previewed films and learned how to take advantage of many Films on Demand features. Formal attire was optional but as you can see, library staff dressed for the occasion! There were 40 attendees – a lot for the afternoon before All Staff Day!
