Library Services Platform Pilot Colleges Selected

Congratulations to the following colleges, who have been named as Pilot Colleges for the Library Services Platform (LSP) project:

  • Allan Hancock College
  • City College of San Francisco
  • Cypress College
  • East Los Angeles College
  • Foothill College
  • Long Beach City College
  • Los Angeles Pierce College
  • Oxnard College
  • Pasadena City College
  • Santa Rosa Junior College
  • Shasta College

These colleges were selected based on criteria designed to form a representative group across our library community, including characteristics such as college size; geographic region; range of technical expertise available; size of library staff; and urban, suburban, and rural locations. The pilot colleges will join the LSP Task Force for a virtual meeting today and will begin contributing to the creation of the RFP, which will be released at the beginning of next month. Great appreciation to these colleges for their willingness to dedicate their time, energy, and expertise toward this important project. Please share this news with all interested parties on your campus.
